In their first programm Mischpoke presents yiddish lovesongs full of longing, Tangos full of erotism, cradle songs full of sorrow, songs and instrumentals. Mischpoke plays the classics, long forgotten compositions and yewish music with love, dedication and respect but takes also the liberty of interpreting them sometimes in a traditional way and sometimes in a modern way integrating current styles in their performance. Thereby Mischpoke combines influences of Jazz, palm court music and oriental sounds.
